Fort Lewis College ranks above Princeton in Professor of Year Award Recipients!

Thursday, December 22nd, 2011

That’s right-and we also rank above  of all the other state universities in Colorado with the exception of  the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, because they are #1.  Fort Lewis College is #2, ahead of University of Colorado, Colorado State,  School of Mines,  University of Western Colorado and all the others in the state.  Not to mention we beat out national university notables like Cornell, Tufts, MIT, Princeton, and Notre Dame.

Fort Lewis college boasts 5 recipients of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) sponsored Professor of the Year program, which recognizes the best teachers in higher eduation from across the country.  Not too shabby for a small state school that has under 5000 students on its’ campus.

So this points to the fact that the professors at Fort Lewis College are extremely dedicated to providing a quality education in the public environment.  Couple this with student to faculty ratio of 17:1 so you really KNOW your professors, with an incredibly low cost of tuition (Fort Lewis College graduates have the lowest debt load among public and private four-year schools in Colorado) and you are looking at an opportunity for a great education!  For more information
