In the last two weeks, we have seen dustings of snow in the high country around Durango, CO!  Although the snow has come and gone, it is a signal of the winter sports activities to come here in the Adventure Ed program at Fort Lewis College.  Winter semester classes being offered for 2011 include telemark skiing, winter expedition skills, and mountaineering to complement the courses of teaching methods for Adventure Educators, Philosophy and Theory of Adventure Education, Organization and Administration of Adventure Education, and Adventure Education Practicum.

ADVISING WILL BEGIN IN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS!!  Dates will be provided to AE students via the listserv, as well as being posted here once our meeting dates have been firmed up later this week.  Faculty and staff look forward to meeting with all our majors, and expect to see new students coming into the program as well.  Please call or email the Office Manager, JC Perteet at (970)247-6383 if you have questions!
