About Me

My name is Ben Miller. I started this blog for Comp 150 with Bill Mangrum when I was 16 years old and still technically a junior in high school. I have been taking all my classes up here at FLC since then in order to expedite my college experience. I am now an official first year student, but I am coming in with 55 previously earned  credits from duel-enrollment. My major is currently engineering, and I will be focusing on mechanical systems. Since I came in with previously earned credits, I am trying to graduate in two and a half or possibly three years.

This semester, I’m taking four classes with a total of 13 credit hours. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I have Math 223 (Calc 3) through the Math Department, Comp 252 through the English Department,  Engineering 103 through the Engineering Department, and finally, English 116 through the English Department. I don’t have any class on Tuesdays, but my math class is four days a week. So on Thursdays, I have my Calc 3 class.

I consider Durango to be my hometown. I’ve lived here for about 6 years, and I plan to finish college here at Fort Lewis.

In my free time, I enjoy getting outdoors. I love Jeeping and camping.
