Special Guests:
Matt Hall
Our emcee for the public show, known as the “Juggle Sensei”, has garnered several awards, including the IJA Individuals Silver medal, the 2005 IJA Individual Prop Champion, and the IJA Peoples’ Choice Award. He has performed, taught workshops, and emceed in places like Scotland, England, Australia, Israel, Canada, The Netherlands, and Denmark. In 2008, he performed at one and hosted another of the Open Stages at the European Juggling Convention in Karlsruhe, Germany-the largest gathering of jugglers in history. Most recently, Matt has performed and emceed at the 2009 Montreal Juggling Festival, the 2009 Melbourne Juggling Convention, and the 2010 Humboldt 10th Anniversary Festival. Matt will bring humor, energy, and massive talent to the stage.

Doug Sayers
2009 IJA Individuals Champion* and 2010 IJA Teams Champion*, Doug radiates enthusiasm and expertise as he performs his World Class juggling routine that has been witnessed by audiences across the country. Hold on to your seats, because the amount of talent that this guy has will blow your mind and then some!

Ember Bria
A contortionist like no other, Ember will bend her body beautifully, gracefully, and freakishly, in ways that will leave your mind bent and confused by reality. Also, look for Ember performing her full act with Matthew Poki McCorkle at the Durango Arts Theater on Saturday, Oct. 23rd.

Brad Weston
Brad Weston has been all over the globe as a full time professional performer for over 25 years. He has appeared multiple times on the Tonight Show, Ellen Degeneres, and Ripley’s, but his favorite gig was the Cascade of Stars Show at the 2010 IJA Convention in Sparks, Nevada.

Kevin Axtell
A performer from the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, Kevin brings an artistic element to juggling that is beyond compare. Kevin’s performances have been referred to as stunning, eloquent, and captivating by audiences across the country.
Christopher Haaser
9 year old wonder child! Christopher has only been learning to juggle for 13 months, and has already achieved an incredible level of skill and stage presence that many performers can only dream of. Coming from Huntsville, Utah, Christopher is excited to be performing at his second juggling festival.
Bri Crabtree
Coming to us from Oakland, California, Bri is a phenomenal ball spinner that brings a magical presence to the stage. Come witness Bri as she impressively spins balls on her fingers while maneuvering them effortlessly around her body.
Thom Wall
Having recently finished a tour with the Hellzapoppin’ Sideshow Revue, Thom is now touring the west, performing as he goes. A juggler from the American Midwest, Thom is the current champion of the IJA 3 ball individual prop competition, and has a fresh and riveting performance style.
Matthew Poki McCorkle
Matt, aka Poki, performs a unique form of object manipulation, known as hoop isolation. Hoops appear to magically float in space as Matt enacts his seamless routine. Also, look for Poki performing his full act with Ember at the Durango Arts Theater on Saturday, Oct. 23rd.

Bekka Rose
Coming to us from Vancouver, Canada, Bekka Rose has spent time perfecting her art of juggling at the Katacomben in Berlin, Germany. She brings an incredbly artistic and European flare to her poetic performance. Due to an injury of another performer, Bekka has graciously stepped in to fill the spot.

CONSTRUCTION ZONE:
To all beginners and novices – young and old alike – the construction zone will be a specified area in the FLC Ballroom for beginners to receive personalized instruction. There will be a person present to teach any and all who want to learn to juggle, spin poi, contact juggle, etc. So – don’t fret about being a beginner – your are welcome!

THE GOAL:
It is our hope that this festival will add to the progressive juggling and circus scene of the Southwest – welcoming and inviting guests from Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, and Colorado (and all other states as well!). This area is currently sparse for juggling festivals. So, let’s all come out of the wood works and make this fest amazing!
