I struggle sometimes relating to the stories from the interviewees, but have kept up for the most part. “I am concerned about what other people think but not to gain approval for myself.” (Kurt Pg.110). A theme I may watch out for more insights on because I struggle with this.
Critic means to judge or criticize. Critical thinking requires judgment of the current situation and all possible ways of solving the problem or need in that situation.“Everyone has the innate ability to think critically. It just depends on how you fine-tune the skill as you move forward”. I agree with Jeremiah, just like any good thing you have to practice and work at it to get better. “Thinking deeper than the first level of thinking”, when Brandon said this I thought of ‘think outside the box’. But if everyone’s thinking outside the box wouldn’t you want to have one foot inside it? Critical thinking is ideas or solutions that are thoroughly contemplated, revised and finally put into writing or action. These are the notions I will draw upon as I progress forward in the research process as well as my scholarship.
